No Smoking in Mount Pleasant!

At 12:01 a.m. Saturday, bars and restaurants in Mount Pleasant officially become smoke-free, but town officials say they will give smokers some leeway the first week. The 19th annual Beach Sweep/River Sweep is 9 a.m.-noon Sept. 8 on Daniel Island at the Children’s Park on River Landing Drive.
