Sullivans Island – Southern End of Island

The southern portion of
Sullivans Island is the most historic of the island.
With Fort Moultrie, Stella Maris Church and the beautiful Sullivans
Island Lighthouse, there is much interest in this portion of the island.

The homes that grace the
shores of the Intracoastal Waterway along Osceola and Conquest Avenues have
unparalleled views of the old Pitt Street Bridge in the Old
Village section of Mount Pleasant
, the spectacular Ravenel Bridge, the Ben
Sawyer Bridge and the Intracoastal Waterway.
Many of these homes have private docks for fishing, crabbing and boating.

On the western side of this section of the island is the beautiful beach that sits
along the Atlantic Ocean. The homes along Middle Street and Atlantic Avenue have
gorgeous views of the ocean. From this end of the island there are views of downtown Charleston, the Charleston Harbor and Fort Sumter. The beautiful beaches here are quiet and never overcrowded.

Homes not on the water still enable you to enjoy beautiful walks or bike rides along
the islands quiet streets to the beach or down to the center of the island
for a lovely brunch or dinner at some of the best restaurants in the area.
The homes on this part of the island are a mixture of newer construction
and beautiful historic hideaways sure to please any and everyone
